The Giants are looking to recover from their below average season in 2013 (76-86) and make a run for the playoffs this year. However, their lineup is roughly the same as last year, with the main offseason additions only being two players: Michael Morse and Tim Hudson. A playoff run is still on the horizon for the Giants, however, due to their new pitching rotation which has improved tremendously. With multiple pitchers who have recovered from an injury and are chomping at the bit to distance themselves from last season.
