The Milwaukee Brewers now have a four-leg team member. Hank the dog has become a significant part of the team. The stray dog made his way into spring training camp on Feb. 17. Brewers employees took Hank to the veterinarian for a bath and check-up.
The estimated 2-year-old, was taken in by the team and even named after baseball great and Brewer alum, Hank Aaron. The unofficial mascot has stolen the hearts of the Brewers. The Brewers take turns caring for the dog and coach Ed Sedar has even picked up a scrambled-egg breakfast for Hank.
Hank has already been assigned to No. 1 and has doggy Brewers jersey to prove it. There’s even talk about Hank getting on the Brewers roster and traveling with team.
